More about me

Hi, I’m Helen! I’m a personal trainer based in East London, offering either mobile training or sessions at my one-to-one studio in Lea Bridge, My ethos with personal training is to have fun with my clients, no matter what their goals are. I never have any preconceptions about where you may be in your fitness journey, or where you might want to get to - every person’s experience is unique.

As an openly queer woman, I love to work with other members of the LGBTQ+ community, and can offer an educated and understanding approach when working with transgender and gender nonconforming people.

After recovering from breast cancer in 2015, I was inspired to not only become a personal trainer, but also branch into working with cancer patients, and now have a level 4 cancer rehabilitation qualification.

I am also a level 3 personal trainer with pre and post natal qualifications, and often work with women throughout their pregnancy and after. I’m passionate about promoting women’s health, regardless of the stage in life they’re at.

Aside from being a personal trainer, I have experience in:

  • Jazzercise & Clubbercise - teaching classes for 7 years.

  • Ballet - I was a ballet dancer from the age of 6 until my early 20’s.

  • Marathons - I currently have 18 marathons under my belt… and hopefully more to come!

  • Ultra Marathons - I’ve done both a 50k and a 100k ultra marathon.

  • Canoeing - 5 marathons worth, in fact!

  • Kickboxing & Boxing - I took part in Pride Boxing for charity in 2019.

  • Pole dancing - I took weekly classes from 2018-19.

  • Cycling - I’m an avid cycler (I’ll probably cycle to our session!)

  • Weight training - I regularly use my studio for my own workouts, as well as for client sessions.
